Olivia Palermo Drops Beauty Products Just In Time For Summer

Fashion icon, Olivia Palermo can be described as one of those cool girls we can trust to deliver a perfect skincare routine.

The Former star of The City (and perhaps the original style influencer) Olivia Palermo is set to launch her own cosmetics line, aptly dubbed Olivia Palermo Beauty. Olivia Palermo was aptly one of those cool girls. She’s also one of those cool girls that have since traversed the crowded seas of influencer-dom to remain relevant and today she is announcing the launch of Olivia Palermo Beauty. 

After releasing her own fashion range last year, the 35-year-old is now trying her hand at the beauty, partnering up with Paris-based Marie Claire Beauty Group for the venture. This comes after almost 15 years she made her TV debut as the ambitious socialite rival to Lauren Conrad on the New York City spin-off of The Hills, The City.

Olivia Palermo began her career in 2008 as part of MTV’s television show, The City, and her impeccable and unparalleled approach to style quickly catapulted her to fashion icon status.

According to Palermo, the collection has been more than 2 years in the making. “I wanted to create a beauty line that follows my own ethos on fashion — something that fits my mood, but also provides a timeless look that everyone can rely on in a pinch,” Palermo said in a statement to WWD.

Instead of applying products as a standard daily regimen, Olivia looks at beauty products the same way she does her wardrobe – an arsenal of tools to help fit her mood and inspire self-confidence.

She states: “It’s a collection that mirrors my beauty routine, focused on elevating the essentials,” she continued. “My approach is trying to find innovative solutions that work not just for me, but for the many, diverse women (and men) that make up our global community. We all have different skin types at all ages. Let’s create heirloom products for everyone.”

The range will be available exclusively on the former reality star’s own website from Thursday, May 6. Launch products include Prime Time Illuminating Serum, Pre-Show Mattifying Mist, Matte Lipsticks, and Eyeshadow Palettes. The gold packaging was inspired by Palermo’s most “treasured piece” of jewelry, a vintage bracelet.
